Sarangi Legend and Maestro Ustad Sultan Khan Passes away

We join with so many others in offering our deepest grief and sympathy on demise of ‘Ustad Sultan Khan’ one of the ‘Guitarmonk’ long time Music Associate and Mentor. Ustad Sultan Khan has produced his last Music Album ‘The flavors of Ustad Sultan Khan‘ under music record label Guitarmonk Records.

Ustad Sultan Khan is a Padma Bhushan Awarded Musician & was the 10th generation of Legacy of Sarangi Instrument [world’s best Sarangi ambassador and maestro]. His famous Songs as Piya Basanti Re, Albela Sajan Aayo Ri etc. are the evergreen Bollywood hits.

The legend passed away Sunday afternoon on 27 Nov, 2011 due to a prolonged illness. May his soul find peace and comfort!!
